Sew, Sew, Sew...

Whew, I've been busy. Here they are, in all of their imperfect glory. I still have 3 more blocks to make. Then I will sew on the sashing, and border. Our last class is next week, and they will teach us how to do the binding, and give us some pointers on actually quilting it. We won't be doing that in class because there isn't enough room in the classroom. I'm pretty excited. I can't believe I will have made a quilt!

Wow, you've been busy! Impressive. I like the colors you chose. I've never made a quilt and you're right....it's going to feel like such an accomplishment.

Thanks for the comment on the doll basket. Funny that your little girl wasn't into dolls either! Makes me feel more normal about my little one :). And what a great idea....put all the Little Einsteins IN the doll basket!!
Brilliant.
Have a good weekend!

Very nice indeed :-)
I might try a quilt myself, without a class and in hopes that it'll work!

Thanks for visiting my blog.
Just to let you know, how I came to visit yours: I was looking for people who already tried a sugarcity-pattern. And there you were :-)
I definitely want to try one next.
